At the moment, “Gabe’s Spatial Imaging” is just me – Gabe. I have a degree in Anthropology and five years of experience in photogrammetry for cultural heritage archives. Throughout that time I’ve trained others on 3D scanning, developed methods and standards, and given talks on the topic.
My spatial imaging specialty is what I call “difficult materials” – metallic, reflective, featureless, dark, etc. I’ve developed and utilized methods for high-fidelity capture on cultural heritage material for all of the types listed, with a special focus on accurate representation and high repeatability in the process.
I am, first and foremost, a problem solver. I see a problem and think; “Of course there must be a way to do this, it’s only a matter of how“.
